Date/Time (ET):
January 24, 2012 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Led By:
Project LAUNCH TA Team

How can Project LAUNCH grantees sustain their important accomplishments over time? Studies of successful, long-enduring, grant-seeded initiatives have found common elements that seem crucial to success. Presenters share some of these examples paying particular attention to engaging with councils and the qualities of leadership and collaboration.

Beth Stroul, a leader in the field of systems of care, provides a national perspective on sustainability, drawing upon her extensive work over the past 25 years researching the core elements of successful social service initiatives from a System of Care perspective.

Claudia Zundel from the Colorado Department of Behavioral Health presents on the very successful work in the state of Colorado over the past decade to embed early childhood mental health services into the fabric of their early childhood service delivery system.

Pam Walker from Canyon City, Colorado, shares the comprehensive early childhood work that has been built and sustained over the past 20 years in a rural setting in Colorado.

National, state and local perspectives on sustainability planning are shared so there is something for everyone.
