Communication Webinar: Harness the Power of Communication Planning

Date/Time (ET):
May 4, 2011 - 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Led By:
Communication & Social Marketing Center

Organizations driving toward social change need to communicate, and communicate well. We can tick off a list of ways that communication affects SS/HS initiatives: Partners need to buy into SS/HS goals, families need to know about your programs and services to use them, school boards need to understand and support your work, program outcomes need to be shared to demonstrate impact, and the list can go on and on.

Without a well-conceived plan, communication efforts can fall flat. Communication planning is a critical process that can define a clear strategy to tell the story of your initiative and drive the change you seek. In this Webinar, we will take a close look at communication planning and share how you can make the most of this process. By revisiting this important communication best practice, we can lay the foundation for our work at the Communication University in July.
