This resource uses studies by national experts in education, criminal justice, and mental health to discuss the link between high-school dropout rates and incarceration in the United States and more specifically, Texas.  It examines discipline used in Texas Public Schools resulting in the suspension or referral to a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program and the implications this has for the outcomes of students.
