Restorative Services: Bringing a Framework for Improved School Culture to Public Schools

This program was developed in response to a growing need on the part of public schools to cut costs by dealing with at-risk students on site.  Restorative practices are designed to promote a positive classroom culture, with the goal of fostering mutual respect and a sense of community schoolwide. Implemented in schools throughout the world, it has helped dramatically reduce days lost to suspensions and out-of-school placements.
