Preventing School Violence: Plans Make it Possible

This issue highlights the final report and findings of the Safe School Initiative: Implications for the Prevention of School Attacks in the United States, which discusses the implications of what can be done to prevent school violence, particularly with regard to student-on-student violence. It also has lessons learned to help schools contend with crisis as well as an interview with an Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools official discussing a study that tracks school deaths.
