Build Initiative Resources on Family Strengthening

The Build Initiative is a project of the Early Childhood Funders’ Collaborative, supporting state efforts to create comprehensive early childhood systems. Their Web site contains several resources they have developed on family support, including an assessment tool to help state early childhood system leaders identify their progress in implementing systems of programs, services, and practices that incorporate protective factors as an integral part of early childhood systems. In addition, the Web site has a PowerPoint presentation on the importance of parent support to early learning.
