AchievemenTrap: How America is Failing Millions of High-Achieving Students from Lower-Income Families

This report compares academic achievement patterns of high-achieving students from lower-income families and higher-income families. It examines various aspects of achievement, including differences in persistence and gaps in college and graduate school completion. Differences among the two groups are highlighted using vignettes on lower-income students and the challenges they face, in addition to data and statistics.
