The 3rd edition of the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Evaluation Monograph describes local evaluation results from 37 sites from the 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002 cohorts of the Safe Schools/Healthy Students (SS/HS) Initiative.Based on local evaluation reports from the 37 SS/HS grantees, the SS/HS monograph describes the challenges these communities faced and shares some of the important results they achieved. The monograph highlights accomplishments achieved in the areas of safer communities, accessible mental health services, and improved academic performance. The various documents that make up the monograph can serve as a reference when planning evaluation and sustainability strategies.

The SS/HS Evaluation Monograph includes:

  • "Capturing SS/HS Experience Through Local Outcomes," a summary of key outcomes from all 37 sites
  • "Making a Difference: Data at a Glance," examples of program outcomes
