Dear Colleagues,

In April, the National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention held its national conference, Strengthening Our Future: Developing Healthy Children and Youth, Strong Families, and Safe Communities, in Kansas City, Missouri. For the first time, grantees from three distinct programs were brought together: Safe Schools/Healthy Students, Prevention/Early Intervention, and Youth Violence Prevention.

We extend our thanks to all participants for their part in making this year's conference highly productive and enjoyable. It is our intent as a technical assistance center to provide you with valuable learning experiences and resources that strengthen and sustain program efforts.
