SSHS Project Directors' Consortia Conference

Date/Time:
August 2, 2010 - 8:00am - August 3, 2010 - 4:00pm
Location:
Bethesda, Maryland
Led By:
National Center for Mental Health Promotion and Youth Violence Prevention

The 2-day PD Consortia Conference is held August 2-3, 2010, at the Doubletree Bethesda Hotel and Executive Meeting Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The conference agenda was developed to respond to topics identified by PDs, Technical Assistance Specialists (TASs), and Federal Project Officers.

We planned a new and exciting change for this PD Consortia Conference. One of the 2 days is structured in much the same way as past PD Consortia events (i.e., including a variety of “topic” sessions presented by PDs, with input from TASs). The other day is comprised of intensive (6-hour) skill-building tracks, facilitated by TASs, consultants, or technical partners.

This conference allows SS/HS PDs from FYs 2007, 2008, and 2009 SS/HS sites to meet with and learn from each other as well as participate in daylong skill-building training. Due to space limitations, requests to bring additional representatives cannot be honored. TASs are available to work closely with individual SS/HS PDs to apply what they are learning to their own sites.

Project Directors
