Digital Citizenship

The digital world is complex and constantly changing and so is its role in the lives of youth. This resource defines digital citizenship as the skills used to evaluate the credibility of online sources and the ability to communicate and use the internet responsibly and safely. Highlighted are important ideas behind digital citizenship that assist in the intervention and prevention of cyberbullying, such as “if you wouldn’t say it in person—don’t say it online.”
