Juvenile justice (JJ) is most commonly associated with provisions in place for youth who have committed crimes or who have been victims of abuse, such as Juvenile Court. This fact sheet broadens the idea of juvenile justice to include school systems who share similar goals with JJ such as keeping youth in school and teaching them the skills and knowledge they need to excel in life. Provided are strategies of building this partnership and examples of schools who have successfully done so.
