Recent research suggests that mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders tend to be related and stem from a set of common conditions, but much current research and practice continue to deal with them as unrelated issues. This article proposes a framework for a public health movement that would increase the number of environments equipped to address the prevention of mental, emotional, and behavioral problems as interrelated disorders.
