Dominique Lieu
Ms. Lieu is a Research Assistant on the Project LAUNCH Technical Assistance team, where she provides research support for the team by updating the Project LAUNCH Web site, producing the monthly e-newsletter LAUNCH Links, coordinating events and meetings, and assisting in the development of Project LAUNCH materials, guides, proposals, and presentations. Previously, Dominique worked on several clinical research teams at Johns Hopkins Hospital and as a teaching intern for Teach Baltimore. Her past work also involved assisting in the design of innovative curriculum for MIT’s PicoCrickets, a robotics activity kit for children, and teaching children new technologies through workshops. She served as the secretary for Child’s Right to Thrive, a graduate student group that advocates for children living without parental care, where she coordinated educational and fundraising events. Most recently, Dominique worked as an intern at the Family After-School Program, where she led therapeutic behavioral groups for children. Ms. Lieu holds a B.A. in Psychology and East Asian Studies from Johns Hopkins University, and a M.A. in Child Development from Tufts University.
